We will spend 4 nights in Kyoto, where we will complete our 30-Hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training amongst ancient temples, peaceful gardens and the quiet beauty of traditional Japan. Alongside our training, weโ€™ll explore the cityโ€™s hidden laneways, discover incredible local restaurants tucked down alleyways, experience Japanese culture and allow ourselves to fully slow down and absorb the atmosphere of Kyoto.

From there, we will travel to Osaka for 3 nights - experiencing the vibrant energy, nightlife, food culture and modern rhythm of the city.

We will then complete our journey with 2 nights in Tokyo, exploring the electric contrast of tradition and innovation that makes this city so unforgettable.

This retreat has been designed to blend meaningful learning, cultural immersion, adventure, connection and personal growth in a way that allows you to experience Japan beyond the surface.

To make your travel experience seamless, we also work closely with a wonderful travel agent who can assist you with choosing and booking your flights and answering any travel-related questions you may have.

YOUR FACILITATORS

Mikey

Mikey is an E-RYT 500hr yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, and sound healing practitioner with international experience teaching classes, workshops, retreats, ceremonies, and teacher trainings.

Mikeyโ€™s teaching is rooted in presence, embodiment, nervous system awareness, and trauma-informed facilitation. His approach to Yin Yoga weaves together functional anatomy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, emotional awareness, meditation, and sound to create practices that are both grounded and deeply felt.

With a background in music, sound healing, breathwork, Mikey brings a unique depth to the Yin Yoga space, blending education with atmosphere, structure with intuition, and stillness with transformation.

Jordan Moore

Jordan has been teaching yoga and Pilates across the Mornington Peninsula for the past 8 years, creating classes and spaces that support both movement and nervous system wellbeing.

With a background in dance, her teaching style blends strength, creativity, balance and breath.
She is passionate about guiding practices that honour each personโ€™s unique anatomy while encouraging students to move with greater awareness and connection.

Alongside teaching classes, Jordan has been facilitating workshops, retreats and teacher trainings and met co-facilitator Mikey while leading a Pilates Teacher Training in Sri Lanka.

For Jordan, travel is how she unravels the deepest growth. When we travel outward, we also journey inward, discovering new layers of ourselves through movement, nature, shared experiences, and moments of stillness.

Jordanโ€™s intention is to create spaces where people feel welcome, seen and supported and able to connect with themselves both on and off the mat.
